How to Pay Your R198 SACE Yearly Levy

Your annual SACE levy is R198. To reinstate a suspended eService account, please choose one of the following payment options:

Option 1: Online via eServices (Fastest - Look for Pop-up)
  1. Go to the eService website: https://www.eservices.gov.za
  2. Click twice on the “Education” bubble.
  3. Click on “SACE Professional Registration.”
  4. Enter your email and password, then click Login.
  5. When prompted with the Reinstatement Notification, click “Yes” twice for both questions:

  6. Select “Online Payment” and enter your card details to complete the payment.
  1. Go to SACE’s website: https://www.sace.org.za

  2. In the menu, click on “Pay Here” and select “Pay Online”

  3. At “Select Educator Type” choose SA Citizen, enter your ID and click on “NEXT STEP”

  4. Check if your personal details are correct

  5. Click on the checkbox “Annual Membership Fee R198.00”

  6. Click on “MAKE PAYMENT”

Step 1: Enter SACE’s Bank Details

  • Account holder: SACE
  • Bank name: Nedbank
  • Acc no: 1462 00 1653
  • Acc type: Current account
  • Beneficiary reference: YOUR ID NUMBER

Step 2: Payment Notification Type

Select email and enter Your Email Address

Step 3: Double-check the details and then MAKE THE PAYMENT


Step 4:
Download and Email Your Proof of Payment to SACE

  • Download your R198 proof of payment PDF file from your email address.
  • Email it to: revenue@sace.org.za
  • Also CC: Vuthari.hlabangwana@sace.org.za


In your email, please use one of the following options:

Option A (For SACE Certificate Download):

  • Subject: SACE Certificate Request – [Your ID Number]
  • Body: “I want to download my SACE certificate, but I had to pay the yearly levy first. The proof of payment is attached. Please send my SACE certificate.”


OR

Option B (For Account Reinstatement):

  • Subject: Account Reinstatement Request – [Your ID Number]
  • Body: “I see on eService that my account is suspended. My proof of payment is attached. Please reinstate my account.”


Note:

Option A and Option B are just examples to help you with the email text. If your situation is different, please write your email to SACE accordingly.
